Last night, People for Peduto held the Pittsburgh mayor’s 7th Annual Holiday Party in the Union Trust Building (501 Grant St.) in downtown Pittsburgh. From 7:30-10 p.m., festively dressed guests from all walks of life streamed into the historic venue.

Throughout most of the night, Mayor Bill Peduto greeted a long reception line that snaked around the entrance of the banquet room. The event’s planner Sean Gray estimated attendance at 1,500 over the course of the evening.

The evening featured a special reunion by the Old E Allstars and performances by Phat Man Dee and DJ Zombo. East End Brewing Company and Engine House 25 served craft brews and wine tastings, respectively. Guests could also taste the “almost famous Peduto punch” and sample 60’s-style desserts, including Sixlets, Clark Bars and Klondikes (plus the requisite cookies) and pretzels from The Pretzel Shop.
