The residents of Allentown have been striving to revitalize the area for the last decade. Recently Josh Lucas and some young blood have moved into the area. They’ve been hosting events trying to attract new residents and businesses. Whether it is a success or not has yet to be seen.

The marketing behind the Open in Allentown pointed to it being a networking event and mixer for the neighborhood. Upon arrival, it seemed more like an open house for a property that had undergone renovation. In fact, the reoccurring theme for most of Allentown Businesses and their properties have been just that. Cheap properties in need of major repair.
