City of Asylum hosts its sirens of jazz on Wednesdays in Pittsburgh’s Northside. Roger Humphries and his band, RH Factor, are the ferrymen of Summer on Sampsonia. The pop-up event happens the same night as Banjo Night, and Bluegrass night, but the earlier sets and BYOB has a strong appeal.
Anyone with jazz close to their heart should make their way over to City of Asylum’s Alphabet Tent and catch Roger Humphries.
