The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust kicks off its India in Focus event with a colorful change to its Gala. A follow up to last year’s Jazz Tapestry Gala, the Marigold Gala asked guests to wear something colorful (we did). The Benedum Center hosted the four hundred and thirty guests for a cocktail hour followed by dinner followed by dancing. The Duquesne Club catered the event and Carnegie Mellon University’s Bhangra Dance Troupe brought the entertainment.
It is no surprise that the event raised over $500,000 to benefit arts programming through the Cultural Trust.
