While some students liken life to the red solo cup parties held in Greek life basements, others assert that it truly begins only after graduation caps take flight. However, seasoned philosophers understand that life is most enriching when shared over a good meal. For nearly three decades, Fuel and Fuddle provided such meals, serving as a beloved gastropub for students and Pittsburgh locals alike.
After 27 years, the Fuel and Fuddle gastropub is closing Friday, May 26th. While rising rent has done them in, they’re offering their secret recipes so they may have another lease at life. As Sklumper pointed out, “This is the drunken college student equivalent of obtaining the Krabby Patty Secret Formula.”
