The Nuu X6 incorporates flagship features while remaining true to it’s function and price. At a glance, the 5.71″ Body fits in one hand, features dual sim cards, a replaceable battery, and has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage backing a decent camera. It’s GSM Unlocked and currently includes 3 months of Mint Mobile for $99.99. If you only have $100 for a phone, here’s why you should take a look at the Nuu X6:

Nuu X6 – First Impressions
I came across Nuu Mobile at CES 2020. In the sea of booths promising the future, Nuu Mobile promised a straight forward reliable phone for today. After using the phone for two weeks, it is clear that Nuu delivers on that promise.
The first thing you’ll notice unboxing the Nuu X6 is that everything you’d pay extra for is already there. Nuu includes a screen protector already applied, a gel case, and Mint Mobile sim (for a limited time). For those who don’t care to spend hours on Amazon looking for the right case to properly express which hot sauce you are, this is a warm welcome. Oh, and $25 saving.
There are 4 slots. Two for sim cards, one for a Micro SD for expanded storage, and of course the 2,800mAh battery. If it had been thinner and wider it is reminiscent of LG’s V20 from a few years back. The backing clamps on securely and will stay on in most falls. Of course, the 13-megapixel camera and finger print reader remain accessible.
Nuu X6: Camera and Screen
The 5.71-inch FHD+ display (1440 x 720) 60Hz display is nothing to scoff at. It doesn’t have the pixel density you might be use to in other phones, but it is bright enough to see who’s calling in the sun. Much of it is in part to an ambient light sensor that actually works unlike some of Nuu’s competitors. Furthermore, there is a notch in the front for the lowly 5mp camera. Please don’t use this in low light. Your followers will thank you.
The back of the camera features a standard 13MP w/ Autofocus and a VGA depth lens. While it will never be a contender for DXOMark’s top score, the camera will produce good images in good light. I brought the Nuu X6 as I shot with Katie Castles at Carnegie Mellon University. All things considered, the images were more than good once processed with Snapseed (which we use for even a Google Pixel 4).
Should You Buy It? Who is it For?
The Nuu X6 is a perfect Android phone on a budget. It’s not a flagship, but it was never meant to be. I could see it being a wonderful secondary phone for backup or as a gift to a family member.
