Attack Theatre invited press, friends, and family to their shared space at the Pittsburgh Opera to confirm rumors about their upcoming 21st season. Peter Kope and Michele de la Reza took control of the dance floor while Rebecca Himberger made the heavy hitting announcements.
Announcement Highlights:
- Attack Theatre Collaboration with Quantum Theatre and Chatham Baroque for “The Winter’s Tale” running September 16th – October 3rd.
- Remainder will return Attack Theatre back at the New Hazlett Theater where the company first performed. November 13 & 14.
- The Dirty Ball has crashed. It’s no more. It’s ceased to be. Gone to it’s maker. It will be replaced with One Night Stand February 13th, 2016.
Rebecca Himberger said, “Ten years ago, we took a risk. We started The Dirty Ball. Now we’re asking the audience to take another crazy adventure with us with One Night Stand.” The new event will be designed for donors. The proletariat will be able to enjoy The Down and Dirty Dance Party at Spirit in May.
